Mardi Gras Morning
The St Anne parade usually starts around 9 AM on Mardi Gras morning and gathers in the Bywater near Piety and Burgundy Streets. It then goes through the Marigny and Quarter to the Mississippi River.
St Patrick’s Day
The annual downtown parade starts at the corner of Burgundy and Piety in the Bywater, then goes up Royal, across Esplanade to Decatur, up Canal to Bourbon, and makes stops along the way.
Krampus Holiday Parade
The parade features Krampus, a mythical alpine monster who scares children before Christmas by intimidating them with a pitchfork, chains, cowbells, and lumps of coal.
